Role Description/Criteria
Applications are invited for the position ofÌýLearning Support Officer for an immediate start, concluding at the end of the 2025 year. Opportunities for the right person to extend the position into 2026. This position is part time, minimum three days per week. Exact hours, including start and finish time will be negotiable.Ìý

The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Learning Diversity and Wellbeing Leader and Deputy Principal, as well as the classroom teacher/s. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and will comply with our Child Safety Code of Conduct.
Position Requirements
The position focuses on supporting students with additional learning needs as directed by the classroom teacher, with the support of the Learning Diversity Leader and Deputy Principal. Integration Aides follow strategies outlined in the students’ Individual Learning Plan and assist students in class to engage in a broad range of learning activities.
The role requires experience working with students in an education setting and qualifications in education support are highly desirable.Ìý
Pre Service Teachers are also encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will:
- adhere to our Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies
- have a current Working With Children CheckÌý
- experience as an LSO or Certificate III or IV Qualification in Education Support or equivalent - not essential
