Role Description/Criteria
St Andrew's Primary invites applications from suitably qualified and passionate teachers for the position of a full time Year 5/6 classroom classroom teacher. This is a fixed term position commencing on 21 July, 2025. ÌýÌýThis will be a 6 month fixed term appointment with the possibility of becoming ongoing in the future.Ìý
Graduate Teachers and Expereinced Teachers are welcome to apply for this position.ÌýÌý
The teacher will promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based practice and wellbeing principles and will ensure the ongoing development and implementation in line with the ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ Vision for Instruction 2030.
The successful applicant will:

- demonstrate initiative and a commitment to ongoing Professional Learning
- model the Catholic and community values of the school and embrace families from diverse social backgrounds
- commit support and loyalty to the Principal, leaders and all colleagues
- uphold the St Andrew's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct
- at all times commit to Child Safety practices and standards.
The successful applicant will have:
- VIT registration
- a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to undertake a First Aid Course).
- adhere to our Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies
- RE accrediation preferred but not essential
