Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  1. A strong commitment to the ethos, values, and mission of Catholic education.
  2. Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school (or a willingness to obtain).
  3. Willingness to plan, implement, and assess effective and engaging teaching and learning programs in line with the ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement.Ìý
  4. Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  5. Commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice.
  6. A passion for building a new school community and the resilience to navigate the challenges of a start-up environment.
  7. High expectations for all learners and a commitment to excellence and equity in education.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • Relevant teaching qualification(s)
  • Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or willing to obtain this)
