Classroom Teacher
Location: Holy Cross Primary School, New Gisborne
Employment Type: Full-time, (12 month contract with the possibility of ongoing)
Commencing: Term 1, 2026

About the Role:
- Plan and implement high-quality learning programs.
- Deliver evidence-informed, differentiated teaching that meets the needs of all learners leveraging frameworks such as MTSS to provide targeted support where needed.
- Understand each child as a learner and adapt instruction to maximise engagement and outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Contribute to curriculum development and school-wide initiatives that align with our Catholic identity and the strategic direction of ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Strong command of instructional strategies and explicit teaching methods.
- Proven ability to implement differentiated instruction leading to measurable student growth.
- Highly organised, collaborative, and reflective practitioner.
- Commitment to curriculum excellence and maximising student engagement through predictable routines and a well-structured classroom.
- A demonstrated commitment to Child Safety and wellbeing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent.
- Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
- Accreditation to Teach Religious Education (or willingness to obtain).
