  • Lead with empathy, fairness and purpose.
  • Understand behaviour as communication and respond with curiosity, not control.
  • Bring knowledge of trauma-informed and restorative practice, alongside deep respect for Catholic values.
  • Build staff capacity through coaching, modelling and reflective dialogue.
  • Are organised, proactive and skilled in case management, data-informed intervention and family partnership.
  • Value collaboration, humour and grace in the face of complexity.

Requirements

  • Current VIT registration
  • Demonstrated experience in student wellbeing, behaviour or pastoral leadership
  • Commitment to child safety and the Victorian Child Safe Standards
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education, or willingness to work towards this
