St Martin de Porres Primary School is a vibrant, multicultural Catholic community located in ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ’s western suburbs. We currently nurture 276 students across 12 classes. Teachers work in collaborative teams of two or three, creating a supportive environment that encourages innovation, shared learning and teamwork.

We are seeking an enthusiastic graduate teacher who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children. At St Martin de Porres, you will be welcomed into a caring community, supported by experienced mentors and leaders and given opportunities to grow in confidence and capability as a beginning teacher.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Applicants will be expected to:

  • demonstrates an understanding of the ethos and mission of a catholic school and a willingness to contribute to the faith and community life of st martin de porres school.
  • shows a commitment to providing a child-safe and supportive environment that promotes student wellbeing and positive relationships.
  • willing to engage with the macs vision for instruction and vision for engagement, and apply these principles within the school setting.
  • displays enthusiasm for creating a vibrant, inclusive learning environment where all students are encouraged, challenged, and supported to grow.
  • demonstrates a developing ability to gather and use student data, with support, to inform planning and improve learning outcomes.
  • shows an understanding of evidence-based and high-impact teaching strategies, and a readiness to apply them in practice.
  • works collaboratively and positively with colleagues, valuing teamwork and shared professional learning.
  • commits to ongoing professional growth, reflection, and continuous improvement as part of the graduate teacher journey.

  • have accreditation to teach Religious Education (or will work towards accreditation)
